Miscellaneous:

 

* The ARCS-USA camps are affiliated USSA program activities.  As such, all athlete participants are required to hold a USSA or equivalent country competition license (cost not included in camp package) and be a member of the ARCS-USA Ski Club (cost included in package).

* El Colorado base ski lodge and Condo complex offer free wireless Internet access.

* Lodging is provided in fully-equipped condos with 4-5 athletes per apartment.

* Condos are less than a 200 yards from the main lifts & lodge and offer direct ski-in & ski-out access.

* Because of the long daylight hours, typical daily training schedule consists of: breakfast at 7am, training/ drills/ gates between 8:30am to Noon, 2 hr lunch/rest break, followed by additional on-hill training, free-skiing, and/or dry-land activity until 5:30pm, dinner at 7pm, and video analysis & WC runs at 8pm.

* Departure from USA is evening of date specified, arriving at destination around Noon the next day.  Athlete will ski the afternoon of the arrival at El Colorado.

* Air package includes stop in Maimi, FL; special arrangements for pickup/transfers at that airport can be arranged upon request.

* Departure from El Colorado is evening of the day before last day of session period, arriving at USA destination A/P the next morning.  

* All camp participants must have a valid passport.

 

* Chilean port-of-entry (reciprocity) fee requirement per person is $100 USD (not included in camp package),  good for life of passport.

 

* Past camp alumni include current USST members: Roger Brown and Tim Kelly.

 

* Heli-skiing is optional (at additional cost).

 

* All participants are responsible for making their own

arrangements to get to/from Newark or Miami A/P's.
